The app embed isn’t protecting my storefront
Open your theme editor, make sure Disable Mouse Right-Clicks is switched on under App embeds, and click Save. Then hard-refresh your storefront (Ctrl/⌘+Shift+R). If it still doesn’t apply, confirm you enabled it on your published (live) theme.
Can shoppers still copy my content?
The app makes casual copying inconvenient by blocking right-click, copy, drag and similar actions. It does not make content private — view-source, developer tools, screenshots and direct requests can still reach it.
Will it slow down my store?
No. It adds one small script that runs locally in the browser and makes no external requests, so the impact on page speed is negligible.
Does it interfere with checkout or search?
No. Typed fields — search, checkout, address, coupon inputs and any editable field — are always exempt, so your store stays fully usable.
How do I uninstall it?
Turn the app embed off in your theme editor, then remove the app from your SHOPLINE admin under Apps. The protection is removed from your storefront immediately.
